Week 9 -Run1 a Toughie in the hail

Completed week9 Run1 this morning, sun was shining a little at 9am so popped the trainers on and off I went, first 10 went fine although the wind was picking up. The sun then decided to disappear behind some dark, dark clouds. 🌥

20 mins to go, could I get home before it rained? Nope, not a chance. it p**sed it down!😂 Saying I was wet is an understatement, then the next weather phase came... hail ! Hailstones came for a good 3 or 4 minutes. It’s a tough ask running running into wind & rain but hailstones are another matter, got home, my face, arms and legs absolutely battered and I was cold, tired & very very wet. managed the full 30 mins though so not all bad 👍🏻

Hopefully run 2 weather will be a little nicer on Wednesday
