I am still here plugging away! I wonder what the longest time to complete Couch 2 5K is????
My knee is the main reason it is taking so long (I started in January), I can only manage one run a week at the moment. Frustrating but I know if I push it I will get injured.
So last night the old foes of negativity gremlins were back again, I really wanted to stop lots of times but I kept plodding on. Plus it was pretty windy here and I hate running in the wind! But I kept going and I jogged continuously for 30 minutes!!!!! Surprised myself with how much further I am now going. It feels like 5K might actually be a realistic goal.......
To anyone struggling, i’ve been there and it is worth keeping going. Week 7 was my nemesis and I really thought about giving up. Since then it has genuinely got easier. Next stop graduation!!!

Very, very well done you!! Taking it at your own pace and listening to your body...that is the only way... Just cruise your way, steadily and slowly to that podium. We are all waiting there and the badge is ready
Absolutely fantastic! That drive and determination will really help keep you going. Doing what you can & sticking to it is true grit! And listening to your body is so important - we’re trying to get fit & avoiding injury has been a key goal of mine. Nice and slow still counts!
I have always been guilty of comparing myself to others and not being happy with my own rate of progress. But merely getting through this programme has been so huge for my mental health and I am beating back the gremlins one run at a time 😍
