First Parkrun!!

After encouragement from a friend I did my first Parkrun yesterday......really enjoyed it and even managed a PB for 5k! πŸ˜ƒ

Finally getting over my phobia of being out running in public where people can see me, and definitely noticing that I manage better times outside than I do on the treadmill, which seems weird to me because I’d have thought a constant steady pace on the treadmill would have been faster. Ah well, I’m not arguing!

Good time for your first parkrun yesterday FawnDoo, sub 30 minute 5k is a dream for me and many others here on C25K, congratulations. 😊 πŸƒ

My average on the treadmill is 29:30 to 32:00, and getting sub 30 minutes on the treadmill really feels like I have to push hard, so I was a bit surprised yesterday πŸ˜ƒ

Great run at your park run . What app did you use to give you each km time reading 😊

It’s an app on my iPhone called Pacer, it lets you check your performance across each km / mile.
