Well despite the horrendous weather I set out last night - despite sinus pain (which has dogged me since W3).
As I had to go back to trekking the street, I got drenched by a few passing cars and folk walking back from work determined to avoid puddles which meant I had to run through them (thanks a lot! ).
Despite this I kept going and was rewarded near the end by an encouraging horn tooting from a former colleague in his works van. I smiled and waved and thought "I bet he never thought he would ever see me running!" that was all the determination I needed to finish.
A further boost was to arrive home to my lovely hubby who had run a hot bath for me and as I pulled my jacket off he commented that my tummy had really flattened out - I know he is exaggerating as it will never be flat after 2 huge babies and a medical emergency 2 years ago (which meant all my blood pooled into my stomach forcing it to distend hugely), but I sort of get what he means...
Planning a very early graduation run tomorrow (hopefully back in a dry country park) as my lovely cousin has planned a brunch to celebrate.
Thanks to everyone on this forum and the amazing C25K app and I will join the throngs of "If I can do it anyone can!"
