Hi

Started week Six had a bit of a niggle img pain in my right ankle. Just finished run come home a iceced it. Think I need some better trainers and should rest it for the rest of the week. Any advice Welcome feeling a bit gutted.

Have a rest day and see your your ankle feels then if it's ok try running if you get any pain then stop. You could also get some ankle support and yes proper running trainers are advisable 😊

There is advice on injury and shoes in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... also on minimising impact, which you need to bear in mind if you are susceptible to injury.
