I will be 60 at the end of May, I have lost 3 stone since February 2018 and I am aiming to lose another 3 stone by the end of this year. I have been a bit up and down with eating loads since Christmas and can't seem to regain the will to stop eating everything and anything!!
I swim 24 lengths at least once a week, in a good week, I manage to go twice. I like to cycle when I can fit it in, between working and looking after my grandchildren.
I decided a few weeks ago to try the couch to 5K, as I can do it anytime of day or evening. I had good trainers from last year, bought my self, what looks like a torture device to keep my boobs in line..... got a couple of light weight, loose jogging bottoms, and already have a hoodie.
Problem - what to do with mobile phone so I can listen to week 1 without loosing phone or it juggling about!!!! I put it in my jogging bottom pocket and safety pinned it in.. it worked.
Off I went, I followed the instructions, liked the music, I got half way through and my jogging and brisk walking slowed right down and the one minute jogging felt like 10!
But... I did it, how pleased I am with myself... am aiming for next jog on Saturday afternoon, hopefully if I can still move about by then.
I will keep you all updated.

Hi, I have had struggled with the same problem. My first try was to stick my phone in my bra. That worked reasonably well. I also have a vest I use while running that has a pocket. Perhaps, all you need is a hoodie with a pocket. I also have one of those small passport holders that is crossbody, which works as well. Hope one of these ideas works for you.
Thank you, I don't think the phone will fit in my bra..lol, its keeping everything very still and tight.. which is good.. I will keep it pinned in my pocket until something better turns up. How far are you in the training?
Sounds like you are well on your way to success. I like grazing too..chocolate and then some more is my downfall. However the running does help counteract that a little. Try fruit, fresh and whole - it's good and helps with the weight loss. Slow and steady weight loss and also the running too...we like snail pace here 🐌🐌🐌.
Anyway now to the phone. First off I just held my phone, then I used a 'bum' belt, & then I used one of those armband phone holder things. It was O.K. but I found it difficult to put on, and it kind of slipped down my arm. Lots of people use them and seem to manage fine. I've now moved on to a 'Flip Belt' which is the best at the moment...comfortable to wear, doesn't bounce around, and it feels safe. Available on a well known website we probably all use. There are other similar contraptions on sale there too.
Happy running, enjoy it - beware, it's addictive 🙂🌻
