So Ive started three 25 minute runs and only completed one!!

First one I came to a halt at 24 minutes the next I finished and now this morning I reached 15 mins and my legs were like lead.

Im guessing its lactic acid!! Any suggestions?

You don't actually say why you stopped.

Your mention of lactic acid suggests leg pain.

It is unlikely to be lactic acid unless you are running very fast.

Regardless, slow down...... we all have to pace ourselves for longer runs and make sure you are drinking a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluids each and every day. Poor hydration is often the cause of tired muscles and heavy legs.

Maybe not hydrated enough have a rest day and repeat this run you will do it next time 😊

I’m with IannodaTruffe. I’d bet on hydration... if that’s perfect you’re never thirsty, and getting it right is more about what you drank yesterday than it is pre run.

Lactic build is associated with fast running, and usually comes with some pain, which you don’t mention.

You can run 25, you’ve done it, so a drop in speed is the way to go.
