I completed week 6 Run 3 without an issue and was so proud of myself, but tried week 7 Run 1 today which is exactly the same and really struggled! Not sure what was different but I had to take a walking break at 20 minutes. Has anybody else felt this? I’m hoping I’ll be back to the full 25 minutes next time!

Struggled today!

Sorry about that break at 20 minutes Sutton, o you were so close to be officially a runner, have a good break from running tomorrow, hydrate, drink plenty of water and on Wednesday when you rerun 6/3 take it it slow and steady.

Sometimes a run is just a pain for no reason. Grrr. Annoying at the time but probably will be fine after a day’s rest. Been a lovely sunny day around here, so maybe your legs wanted to go to the beach?😂 Or maybe you set off a bit too fast (that’s my usual trouble). Hope it doesn’t reoccur, but truly, it was probably just a blip.

Yes, me, although in my case it was the other way around and I stopped at 20 minutes in week 6 run 3. It was Laura saying "five minutes to go" which was the problem - I thought I was further along than I was and I was smitten with despair. Apart from hydrating, resting etc., I have found it helpful to do a couple of runs which are out-and-back so you turn when the bell rings and know pretty much where the end of the run is going to be.
Also, it's only an app!! I think you're definitely a runner!

Hi... it happens... I’ve been graduated since early November and loving my running... I don’t post many of my runs here now, but I did have one earlier this month when I had to walk a little, and it was over a distance I should have being running easily... that day just sucked a little. Right in that moment I felt a little failure... then I remembered that there is no fail... I couldn’t have run as far as I did before this plan... and that run made me stronger. Take it easy on yourself, chalk it up as a practice run... relax and go again.
Thank you all for your help! I went back out today to do w7r2 and felt great, completed it without any issues 😁

I did my W9R2 last night. It just about killed me. Wanted to give up several times, but struggled thru to the end. Whereas the previous run went so well and I really enjoyed it and could have run more. I’ve read lots of people on here saying the same thing. I think that’s just how it goes. Only one more run for me to do, but some of them have been really, really hard and at times I thought I’d never get here. Keep going!
