So my daughter decided to join me. I started my warm up and she went from stand still to a full on pelt then stood around impatiently for me to catch up. We were covering some ground nicely til she spotted friends in the playground. That meant me running round the grass in circles whilst she played which made the 8 minutes go on and on! Decided I’m happy if I’m travelling through but laps so boring! Couple that with the constant ‘are you done yet’ every 5 secs or so and she was driving me mad! Still the running bit wasn’t too bad today!

Well done on that run! I love laps... but I’m thinking my 1k and mile laps are a tad longer than you had to do today!
Enjoy that run 3
I know how you feel, my 8 year old can run for maybe 5 mins before she is board, every excuse to stop. On the other hand my 10 year old wants to run at a much faster pace than I can imagine being able to achieve. However the company of them both whilst on earlier runs was inspirational and kept me going. Well done for the laps, could not think of anything worse. I like to look around whilst running and the same view would be off putting to say the least!
