Into week 7 I go :). Taking a little while to find a rhythm at the start of runs. But I suppose that’s something that will improve with practice. Got myself ‘proper’ running shoes yesterday and the difference from my primark trainers was crazy! It’s like running with cushions on your feet! Wish I had got them earlier. They didn’t cost the earth either. Decathlon £30 happy shuffles eveyone!

Me too (W7R1), and I have just come to the same conclusion - my Zumba shoes are losing grip and making my feet hurt. Shopping tomorrow methinks, but our nearest Decathlon is about 60 miles away so it might have to be Sports Direct....

Settling into a rhythm is a continuing issue for lots of people, including me. A running watch really helps because some of them show your current pace so you can adjust. In C25k the default assumption is try hard to run slowly...only going too quickly causes problems! There will be no holding you back with those go faster new shoes!!🚀😊
