I was wondering about this as all my runs so far have been at the park and I did W5R3 yesterday on a treadmill and found it not too bad at all.How are your experiences on the treadmill and at the park?Is one better than the other? My sister did C25K on a treadmill and hasn't done a run at the park yet.

Treadmill v park
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
They are different and most who do the programme on a treadmill find it takes a few runs to get used to being outdoors.
I could not use a treadmill because my boredom threshold is abysmally low..........but each to their own.
Enjoy your journey.
It's what you're used to, well done on running run 3 of week 5 on that dreaded treadmill, most people here on C25K prefer to run outside, they dislike a treadmill and call it a dreadmill 😂.
I was speaking to someone today who goes to a gym, he told me that there are so many machines in the gym that you would have to go through a course on IT to learn how to work many of the machines.
Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs, irrespective where you run it. 😊 🏃
I don’t use a treadmill because I don’t understand them and I’m scared to fall off and look a prat in front of a crowded gym! And it’ looks a bit boring. I’m told that you need to put an incline in to mimic outdoors, but don’t quote me on it. A colleague who is a considerably better runner than me is training for a half marathon at the moment, mostly on a treadmill as it’s easier on her knees which are a bit iffy!
Good luck whichever way you choose.🏃♀️
