W2R1! Best post-run stretches?

Just completed W2R1 - I have never been a runner before but have inspired by my amazing dad steviej99 to give this a try after he completed it, and motivated by the parkrun which i currently watch from my bedroom window every Saturday morning! My aim is to complete Couch25K and take part in the parkrun - rather than admire everyone from my bedroom window!!

Loving it so far! Just wondered if anyone can recommend any quick and effective stretches to do afterwards to prevent / minimise achey legs!

Welcome! Say hi to your Dad... he’d best still be running!

There’s the stretches... enjoy your journey... you can do this and be loving parkrun this spring. Enjoy your journey.

Edit: just saw your dad posted a couple of days ago... I’ll reply there to him.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes links to stretches and much more.

Your dad should be able to advise on this.

Enjoy your journey.
