What wildlife have you met during your runs ( not counting cats and dogs)?

In my case:

Wild ducks, herons, a deer, a fox, a coypu, a buzzard ... I also saw wild swine in the area but am yet to encounter one while running.

After yesterday's W5 R3 I also wonder whether I should start counting semi-detached feral humans since I stumbled upon a homeless guy camping in the woods ( luckily, he did not wake up but I might alter my route next time).

On the bright side this surely took my mind off the dreaded 20 minutes ( which went like a breeze).

Congratulations for completing run 3 of week 5, many runners have seen wild dogs while running, but you said they were not to be counted, I have seen roe 🦌 deer, foxes, buzzards, 🦆 ducks, there is a very dark wood where I run through, expect to see a bear or a wolf, but as there are none of these around I just see them in my imagination 😊🏃

I’d say wild dogs count though: the OP meant pet dogs, right?

Of course I mean domestic cats and dogs - actually, I run through an area favoured by dogwalkers, so I must watch my steps!

I have met a deer and a fox. They gave me something to smile about when I was struggling to run.

I’ve seen a fox, just yesterday, and it was fun, especially because I came up to like five feet from it and it didn’t even notice, it was so intent on whatever it was nosing at, until I gave a little whoop to let it know I was there, upon which it bolted!

Mainly just the local teenagers 😂.

Couple of herons the other day... that’s about as exotic as it been for me so far.
