Week 2 complete

Just finished my last run in week 2, thighs feel fine, breathing was great, I’m finally relaxing into a comfortable jog. I’ve discovered a sports shop with treadmill to get myself fitted into some shoes that will help.

One little niggle that I’d appreciate some advice on....

My knees ache a bit, not painful, just achey, it’s both knees which makes me less anxious, I did an aerobics class last night, perhaps I should of left a day in between before tonight’s run?

Great job.

If the aerobics were high impact or high leg intensity then a rest day would help. There’s some great knee strengthening exercises in the pinned posts. Some knee pain can be caused from higher up. I’m linking runners world’s guide to the knee, which may also help. There’s a lot of things that can cause knee pain... some aches are normal... strengthening the knees will only help though.
