Well I’m still trying to finish week 9. Thought I’d got rid of the virus and bad chest but it came back with avengeance!! Ventured out yesterday started off feeling really great but all soon went downhill. Struggled with breathing (hate asthma) music playlist went doo laalie, and my dog refused to behave. Grrrr! So stopped walked a bit and carried on. Will I ever get there I wonder?

The answer to your question is right there in your post... you keep going to the start line, so of course you will get to the finish line.

You absolutely WILL get there, look how far you've come! Back mere weeks ago when 60secs was hard, then we grinned like a Cheshire cat on running for 5 minutes! And now you're running for THIRTY MINUTES with only a small walk break. Not only WILL you get there, you ARE there! AND you achieved that whilst lurgied!!

Viruses and even colds can take their toll. As you've found, we can feel ok but there's still lots going on in our bodies and they don't like us going back to running too quickly! It is frustrating but there is no hurry, the programme will wait and you will get there when you're 100%

For your first run back try a run/walk to see how you feel and build up from there. Hope you get better soon 🙂
