Having been very focused and ran every other day since wk 1. I am away for the weekend so will now have 3 days off. Think I will miss it but also curious to see how my running self will react. Any thoughts. Week 5r1 felt ok

I agree. Extra rest days now and again are good for you.

I had exactly that same situation last week as I was travelling to switzerland for work and couldn't run on the snow. This was in the middle of week 5. I came back, ran run 2 (no problem, loved it) and today, the dreaded W5R3 - 20 mins non stop. Fingers crossed. You'll be fine.

Thanks, I am skiing in couple of weeks and wondering about running on snow so think I’ll leave my trainers at home now and start again when home!
