W8R1 Done - didn’t want to stop

Since this was 28mins and I was struggling a bit towards the end of the W7 runs I decided to run the first half at a slower pace. Maybe as a result of shorter strides, about 12mins in my left knee started playing up... then a strange thing happened, I started getting concerned I would have to stop and not finish the run. In a few seconds it went from “Will I make it” to “No way I’m not finishing this!”.

Fortunately there was a dose of common sense when I started hopping! I slowed down, paused the app, bended and stretched it out, set back off with my usual stride and pace, eased back in and ran through to the end, with an extra 30secs for good measure.

5 runs to go to graduation.

Well managed... good running. Hopefully that knee will behave itself on the next run.
