Took a leisurely stroll with my little dog to try and ease/Stretch my aching muscles. I noticed though that the balls of my feet are sore (they’re not aching). Any suggestions as to how to ease it and also possible causes. Thanks

Hi lovely, have you had a gait analysis done recently? The pain might be something to do with the way you're running?

Yes I had one before I started c25k the 2nd time after few weeks on the IC after pulling ligament in my knee.

Hmmmm I'm afraid I'm too new to running to be able to help further or than to suggest physio? Hope you get it sorted. X

Thanks it’s not an ache, it’s sore almost like I’ve trod on something really hot.

If it’s new since the last run is recommend assessing it before the next run and taking another rest day if needed.

Shoes you’ve done... soft surfaces I think you’ve done too?!

Shelley hope you find out what’s wrong and you heal safely. Take care. Running will wait for you and we will all still be here too.
