I posted yesterday that I had done my first Parkrun (very slowly). I would recommend anyone doing one for the first time to Google your chosen venue’s difficulty. Lanhydrock is one of the most difficult in the country but I found out too late. My next nearest Parkrun is by Bude and looks far more suited to a new C25K graduate. I plan to be walking again by Tuesday!

Sound advice, thank you for sharing and posting. Rfc x
I found a website that ranked them in order and can be searched - Lanhydrock has a monster 453 foot “climb” - my local in Cirencester has a “climb” of 49 feet (although I haven’t done it yet - planned for 19/1/19).
Search for “parkrun difficulty” and pick “jegmar.com”.
Perfect sites! I am starting some gentle gradient training before trying The North Face of the Eiger again.
