It’s 22 days since I last put my trainers on so I wasn’t expecting to pick up where I left off, despite having had a much longer illness break after W7 and managing to pick up at W8.
My legs felt and breathing felt ok but my mind got the better of me and I bailed after 20 mins jogging. I never bailed once when doing the programme, I had many close calls but kept going. That’s one of the problems with graduating ... lack of focus.
I’m pleased I dragged myself out but disappointed to have only done around 50% of my last run ... but it’s a start.
Onwards to Saturday’s run and hopefully 5km. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

for me running 1 continuous minute is enough so I'm very admirative of your 20 minutes. Don't be so hard on yourself, you went out to run, which is more than most!
Thanks! When I started out, 1min running (shuffling) was a killer but my last run (still a shuffle) was 41 minutes so 20mins was not great but I’m thinking positive and pleased I went out and did it.
You won’t believe what you become capable of as the weeks go by, keep a log by posting on here and look back with amazement. 👍🏻
