Yesterday 31/12/18 done my first run of week 1. Found it a bit hard but realised I cd jog gently rather than run. But now knowing tomorrow I’ll be doing run 2 of week 1 n I’m thinking to myself can I do it. Think I just lack confidence

The first one is always a bit of a killer because it shows up the ugly truth about just how fit you really are ! But you’ve got the right idea: this is about going slowly and steadily to build up stamina, not charging around punishing yourself ! Embrace your inner snail, as they say around here. You can do this and we’re all right here with you. Just remember the First Rule of C25k: The only run you fail is the run you don’t go for ! Enjoy your journey x
You can do this!! I hadn’t run since I was in school (about to turn 43 this week!) but I did the C25K programme and now, after almost collapsing on my first run, I run for 40 mins 3 times a week ....and I love it!! I’m not quick but I am moving and that’s what counts! Always come back here for support and encouragement, this is a fab place to be and really helped me.
