I recently posted a failed 25 min run but now happy to post that the next time I tried it was a success! We are away in our caravan at the mo and it was wonderful to run in the countryside 😀 Happy New Year to all xxx

Good for you isn't it great when you can achieve a run that you couldn't before, I couldn't run for 25 minutes in wk7 but after a few tries it just came to me

Well done for persevering. I had the same struggles earlier this year. Recently I ran non-stop for just over 100 minutes, never having run before March and still carrying too much weight.

This is an amazing programme, just remember your brain is struggling with this new you and wants you to get “safely” back on the couch rather than running. Just slow down and keep running when the mind tries to stop you.

Enjoy your next run.

Great run... the “failure” will have set you up nicely for this run... so they’re not really failures, every run has and serves a purpose, even if it’s not the run you crossed the start line to do! Enjoy week 6... slow and steady in those intervals.
