Feeling defeated 😕

Been busy & haven’t ran for past 3wks 🤦‍♀️so annoyed tried to continue on from wk 7 this a.m nearly died could only run for ten mts became short of breath feeling a failure Any Tips on getting back on form 🤦‍♀️ I feel I have gone backwards instead of forward 😕

Some days are better than others and if you overindulged a bit yesterday then today might not be one of the better days. Maybe go back a bit and try an earlier run, doing that will give you some positivity and help you carry on. A break of 3 weeks won’t result in you losing too much fitness. Getting to week 7 is a massive amount of progress so don’t waste the effort you’ve already put in.

I don’t know what your day was like yesterday but if are like a majority you will of eaten differently, drunk differently and slept differently to most other days of the year, each one of those things can put a run out but all together, there are many runners out there today wondering what happened. Have another go later In The week, take the pace right down and see how you get on. Rfc x

My experience of having a break is that I often find pacing difficult, heading off far too fast.........as a consequence, many of my pbs have been following a break.
