Was just running my last run on week 4, halfway through, got a real sharp pain in my calf and had to stop, I'm so disapointed planning on smashing the final run Sunday though so fingers crossed! 🤞

Sorry to hear that... I would recommend going gently on Sunday just in case... smashing it can wait! Hope it goes smoothly.

True, a slower pace might be better and better stretching too!

Make sure that it is completely better.. and maybe smooth, slow and steady, rather than smash... :)

The language we use betrays all sorts about our character, along with forum name............. C25K does not fit in boot camp approach to fitness, it is much more subtle than that, gently building stamina and strength and at the same time slowly reducing your risk of injury.

Slow and steady works and is the modern scientific based approach for new runners. Pushing hard now will make little difference in a year's time, whereas injury can stop you for days, weeks or even months.

Take care.

Calf pain can be a sprain which needs ice and elevation. If it hurts when you walk, I wouldn’t run on it. If it hurts when you run ... stop 🛑😊 Maybe take an extra rest day . Good luck
