How far did you run in 30 minutes in Week 9?

This post is announcing a poll which can be found here healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Many proud graduates of the C25k programme do not cover 5k in 30 minutes prior to their graduation and many are happy to continue running knowing that they will never hit that target. Up to now we have only ever had a straw poll of graduates, done by Irish John, which indicated that only about 10% of graduates achieved a sub 30 minute 5k by graduation, so this poll is aiming to give us some clearer and more precise information to work with.

It will ask you to honestly select a distance which best represents the furthest distance in kilometres that you ran in 30 minutes in Week 9. Your selection is anonymous, cannot be traced back to you, but will give us some slightly more scientific data about the outcomes of this amazing training plan. Please round down to the nearest distance selection.

I hope that those who agonise about not achieving the arbitrary 5k in 30 minute target will take some reassurance from the results, knowing that they are fitter and healthier and faster than all the sedentary couch sitters.

Just click on this link and add your distance healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Keep running, keep smiling

Do we count the distance covered in the warm-up and cool down also?

What is required is the distance that you ran in thirty minutes.
