So after last week's meltdown, it's safe to say I started today's run with a fair degree of trepidation.
I decided not to do my usual route which takes me approximately 30 minutes, but to try a different and shorter, 20 minute route.
Starting off I had that doubting voice in my my head and visions of the disappointing run from last week. But I persevered, consciously slowing my pace and before I knew it, I had slipped into a comfortable rhythm and was actually enjoying myself.
Nearing my house and feeling good, I was tempted to continue on, but decided not to push it, instead heading home with a positive mind frame that
"I CAN DO IT!"
