Muscle tear has been here a long time now I not done any running nor have I been to the gym getting feed up and such a long way to go all I want to do is run

I feel your frustration Garden as I’ve been on the IC for 4 weeks & starting my 5th😱(hoping for good news this week🤞) Have you been given any advice on what you can do? Wishing you well 👍🏻

I aloud the walk and I got to walk with a long stride and leg exercises to I go back to sports physio in to weeks fingers crossed that will be 5 weeks of no running

We’re at the same stage then albeit different injuries. I feel your frustration. All you can do for now is follow the advice you’ve been given. Heal well fellow runner👍🏻

It feels better then it did but when I do run again I scared it will be back I’ve had it a long time but kept running on it

Hard lesson to learn unfortunately Garden for you & me both😟. When your recovered, I’m sure you’ll take the advice your given. Thats all you can do for now. You WILL run again. Try & stay positive until then 👍🏻

You’ll be even more fed up if you run before you heal. I did and that led me to two full blown injuries and l then couldn’t run and had issues even with walking. Combined healing time took over 5 months. God how l laughed. You’ve got to be focused and patient, that’s the only way. The runs won’t go away.
