So after graduation on Friday I headed out on Sunday. I thought I had a plan but actually I didn’t have a solid one. I ran 2km all on an incline and gave up! Couldn’t get my head in gear and was all over the place without a plan.
Last night I went out and listened to week 9 again and ran for the full 30 minutes... realised 15 minutes in that I needed to keep repeating these runs until I feel ready to move on (which will be when I have sped up)!
So that’s not my plan!
My partner took the picture attached when I returned on Friday! Thought it was quite a snap!!

Good runs... first one sounds intense and shortening the distance would be the way to go with a long uphill, so not surprising you didn't get to 30.
The 30s will start to feel pretty easy, but that in itself may not make a dramatic difference to pace, taking one run a little longer each week would probably do that better, after consolidation
That’s what I’ll do too then after I graduate on Friday 😂. I’m not ready to leave Jo and go it alone 😊. Well done 👍 x
Great snap! I found that I was beginning to feel the benefit of the 30 minute consolidation runs after 3 or 4 times. Mainly feeling stronger (in legs and joints) and feeling easier on the breathing. Now I am ready for my next challenge: 1 or 2 slower runs per week so that I can find my low gear, and 1 faster run or interval training session when the weather and ground permits. Staying injury free is right up there 👆
