I am approaching 62 years of age and started the Ct5K 5 weeks ago. Today I am feeling elated that I have successfully completed Week 5 Run 3. It was definitely more a psychological than physical challenge. Although I have mostly had an active life, I have never been a runner. Each week I have tried to simply concentrate on that days run rather than get caught up and stressing about future runs. CT5K has given me greater confidence in myself, helped me to be more focused in general terms as well as helping me feel so much fitter. So happy I found this app, thank you

Awesome achievement, I can’t rate the programme enough. I would agree it’s far more psychological and I have to work really hard to get through the mental block at times
Thank you for your words of encouragement
You’re doing awesome, 3 weeks left that’s all then you’ll be a graduate 🎓

Great job... that’s the run that tells you you got this... 5 weeks to get to 20, 4 more to add the last 10... slow and steady into week 6 and then it’s all about running.
Great post too... inspirational for those just starting the programme, keep posting your progress, it really helps anyone struggling or not believing they can.
Thank you, you're very encouraging to this old obese lady
