What kind of running shoes are the best for me?
Thank you!!

You will need to rest the shins, and the best running shoes will be the ones selected on comfort from a few suitable pairs in your local running store after gait analysis and a conversation about injury history, how many miles a week you will be running and a few other things. There’s no way I can name a shoe that will be better than that pair I just described.

Enjoy your journey.
Once you've recovered enough to run, think about getting a foam roller to help prevent the shin splints returning. And warm ups and cool down stretches for every run will help too. In fact, I'd say absolutely necessary.
Agree with UNM. proper gait analysis and this will definitely put you on the right track.
