So today (which happens to be my 16th wedding anniversary too) I’ve done my final run in week 9 and officially graduated! I still can’t believe that me, a complete non runner, in fact I’d go further and say I was someone who hated running, has managed to complete the programme, with only one small hiccup along the way early in wk8. Proof positive that if I can do it anyone can. If I’m honest I’m still not loving the runs and convince myself I can’t do it for the first 10 mins each time, but the post run buzz puts me in a high for the rest of the day! Maintenance for me now I think (I may repeat the programme start to finish again in fact just to prove to myself how far I’ve come from the panting and gasping on the one minute runs of week one! ) Then possibly a 10K programme, but for now, I’m just feeling very happy with myself! Love this forum and how encouraging everyone is to one another so thanks for your support guys! Sue x

That is sooooo brilliant - well done!!! I still havent gotten back into it but am sure I will - shifts at work really not allowing me time to do it at moment but I will get there eventually!! Am so pleased for your achievement though and also envious!! Again well done hon!!! xxx
Well, from a Yorkshire Lad to a Lancashire Lass I'm going to present you with a bunch of red & white roses plus a massive "WELL DONE!"....what a great achievement....take things steady and enjoy, that's the main thing.

Well done Graduate! The first 10 minutes are the hardest - it's known as Toxic 10 and is a real thing.
I also didn't really enjoy running, though I loved the buzz every time I completed a run, until I graduated. Now I love it, and I'm sure you will too!
Toxic 10! I did not know that, but I TOTALLY get it! I just need to keep at my 30 min runs I think and improve my times, also I need to change my route to one that’s not quite as flat as the one I’m doing now. Knowing you CAN do it is a big boost though. X
Congratulations Fellow C25K friend. I can't wait to graduate too! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations & Well done Sue, and happy anniversary too.... Great gift for your hubby, a fitter and healthier wife to chase 😊 Enjoy your celebrations of both 💐🥉🎉
Happy wedding anniversary to you Sue and congratulations on graduating here on C25K. Just think of this, next year you will be celebrating your 17th wedding anniversary and your first RUNNIVERSARY. To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE next to your username leave a message ON THE November graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K.
Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.

Huge congrats! (I'm in Lancs too btw ) And also happy anniversary!
Happy anniversary and graduation. Glad someone else feels the same as me, I haven't fallen in love with running but I don't mind it and there is a sense of achievement after each week. Keep running...
I’m at a bit of a loss as to what next now... just been out this morning for the first run since graduation and attempted wk 1 of 5 to 10K and just couldn’t do it!! Didn’t like the app though. I need Laura my personal trainer to encourage me, not some monotone American woman! Ha ha!
