W8R2 - my first run on the road, first run in the dark, first run with music, first there and back run.
I didn’t like it much. I missed the park and the squirrels and geese and funny dogs running up to me and the leaves and the sun 😡
But a run is a run and when I ran in a straight line instead of laps I was astonished at how far I had run. When Sarah said I had run for 5 minutes I thought she was kidding - I was just by my doctors surgery which I normally drive to! (Shame on former me). By the time the half way bell sounded I was so much further away from home than I estimated.
I know everyone says they can’t believe their progress - but I really can’t 😁
