Feeling better after 5 weeks already

I’m nearly 39, with 4 children nearly 20,14 nearly 8 and just turned 1.

After my son I’m finding it harder to loose my baby weight and tone up. Heard of couch to 5k now just starting week 5 and feel so much better in myself already.

Welcome,

Great job on this so far, and you’ve done the hardest weeks. Keep on running and enjoying it.

Good! It’s. Fab programme and you only need tackle the sessions slowly to get the best out of it and yourself

My niece did the programme post baby and she graduated. I ran a 5k race with her which was lovely. Her first 5k 🙂

Juggling home life is tricky but I hope you can get time to head out to do the sessions. If you combine the programme with healthy eating and drinking you’re well on your way to getting slim 😃👍🏃‍♀️

I’m shocked how well I feel just in myself, toning up is now a bonus. I have to go at 6:15am before my husband goes to work at 7:15. I work nights so don’t get in till nearly half 12 in the morning and my son teething so bit sleep deprived but doing it every other morning works out well and doing it at a steady pace I feel I be able to achieve the 9 weeks with ease and hopefully do little marathons like u.

It’s lovely to go lovely and steady. No hurry at all for this job. The last thing you want i s to get injured when you have such responsibilities. So slow and steady is great It buys you time and saves puff 👍

Also, you enjoy it more 😃 when you graduate - if indeed for your graduation session - you could have a go at Parkrun. All the family can get involved in that 🙂.

Well done. I'm 52 and about to start week 9 tonight. Found the first few weeks hard but cant believe where I am now. Stick with it and trust that the programme doesn't ask you to do something you're not ready for even if there are some sudden leaps forward with times. You will do it.
