I got to week 7 and it was all going so well for me, I’ve lost 36lbs.
But I did myself an injury and haven’t gained now for roughly 3 months as my injury hasn’t healed. I really want to get back into my plan and hopefully achieve my 5k as I was SO close.
Can anyone give me some tips to help ease me back into it?

Hey MrsD, apart from not being medically trained, we don't know anything about your injury so it would be unwise to comment. But.... Mentally, you seem to have the right attitude, you want this, and that tells me that you can & will have it!
Whatever your unhealed injury is obviously needs sorting out first, and you will need to be kind enough to yourself to ease yourself back into the programme.
You should however feel extremely proud of yourself to the weight loss so far, that's fabulous! I'm guessing that your breathing and general health felt much improved by W7.
Good luck getting sorted, I look forward to hearing that your back out there again soon 🤞
Once you have recovered from your injury I would start from scratch, after a 3 month break ( and maybe longer if you are still injured) I think it would be hard to ease back into the programme, it will be easier second time round though 😊
Whatever he issue is, running can wait. Have you seen a physio about it? They’d be able to advice on how soon and for what duration you can run and on what surfaces etc.
Well done on the weightloss and hopefully you’ll be back running sooner rather than later.
I started from scratch after stopping due to injury (after w9r3!) - the physio said take 3 months off but i took 5 months off as was to hot to run in the summer 😂 notice lots of people seem to think that it’s a failure to start back at wk 1 - it’s not - the great thing is it’s sort of easier 2nd time around! Make sure you know what caused your injury so not to trigger it again. I’m being v careful this time around to take note of any niggles & i religiously do the post run stretches now!
Hello there! You must be feeling so frustrated just now! But your very first job is to see a physio or your go. Long-term injury can be mentally as well as physically debilitating so you really must get it sorted. Promise? Then off you go. You could then start the prigramme again but skip anything too easy, maybe start at W1 R2, move to W2 R2 and so on until you find your groove again - and I’m sure that you will as you sound incredibly determined. First job though, get on the phone and make an appt to sort out your injury. Good luck x
Talk to your gp or physio. Do the things you CAN do for now, ie arm exercises and floor work if you can't do weight-bearing. Anything is better than nothing as mentally you'll feel better than bemoaning what you want to do but can't. When you've got the all clear take it slow and steady and why not start again to keep it easy on your body.
