Hi Delta2002. When starting out, it is normal to have some aches and pains in the body as you are putting it through something it is not used to doing. It might be worth being physically assessed by your doctor though, as many experts recommend doing before starting any exercise programme. Do you have a history of knee pain?

No history except occasionally when out for shoping/walking constant then the same sort of pain but it does go after 2-3days

Might be worth getting it checked out as you could have an under lying injury that you could be making worse. You may just need to wear a knee support or something, they really do help in a lot of cases but I would get it checked first if I were you. Regardless, I hope you heal quickly and that it's something of nothing.

Welcome to the forum well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Read the guide and take note of the advice for minimising impact.

Minor aches are par for the course but any strong pain is telling you to stop. If this is recurrent then it is worth getting checked out as running will find out any of your weaknesses in your legs.

Enjoy your journey
