Have just completed week 1 runs. The first 2 runs I completed in the evening out on the road and yesterday’s run3 mid afternoon at the gym. I (sort of) enjoyed the first 2 runs but run 3 was a killer. Not sure if it was the time of day, or location but I felt a bit down after it 🙁

Running on the road and the treadmill are quite different, maybe the treadmill will take a little getting used to for you. Maybe you just had a run that sucked for no reason, we all get those. The main thing is you completed the three runs and now go into week 2. The enjoyment will grow as the actual running gets easier... enjoy your journey.
Maybe that you were on the treadmill which I find really boring, no scenery to distract the mind. Hope you can start W2 outdoors 😁
Well done on getting the first week finished. Having done both I do think the treadmill is harder. There's no air, mentally it's tougher and it's actually quite boring! So, don't be too hard on yourself. You did it and you can move on and that's all that matters.
