my last post was about repeating w5 r2 as wasn't ready for r3. Yesterday I went to my local park run. No Michael Johnson, no musi , just me and 350 other people and somehow, can't quite believe this, my fitbit recorded a distance of 4.8km in 29mins! I think I'm ready for run 3 now.

If that run included a 20 minute solid run, you’ve done W5R3 right there.

I told myself to keep going until 3km, then I walked for 100 steps, and felt fine so continued with a slow jog to the end. For satisfaction of completing the program I'll do w5r3 tomorrow, Monday, which should be fine now I know I can do it. It did help having other people around, I've always jogged on my own.
