The years are unforgiving.....

Haven't run for over 30 years (since 1h52' half marathon) but contrary to my expectations I'm really enjoying C25K. Big thanks to the organizers!

I must be the slowest "runner" on the programme though (average running speed 6km/hr 😞).

Not sure how to get faster....

Bit apprehensive about tomorrow -- the dreaded W5R3!

Speed’s irrelevant for this though 😃

Dear miss wobble/Flyingred/Telford_mike/unfitnomore/Oldfloss -- thank you for all your advice and support -- Very nuch appreciated! Finished W5R3 today (albeit at a slow pace) and "ran" an extra five minutes.... at last I begin to understand the thinking behind the "slow down" advice!

You have impeccable credentials, having run a HM previously. Don't worry about your speed at this stage. You just need to get lots of miles back into your legs. Slow and steady is the way forward! Keep enjoying C25K.

The trick with C25K is to keep going slowly. Once you’ve graduated you can look at speed, distance, fancy dress or whatever you want, but for the moment slow and steady will win the race. Good luck!

Don’t worry about faster yet... just do this... then get faster. You can beat that 30 year old HM PB too... it’s been waiting a while, but it never met this you.

Great job so far, have a great next run.

Not dreaded... delightful... slow and steady is just perfect....! No need for speed..just run.. gently and comfortably and totally enjoy!

The legs need to start remembering what they are for.. so relax.. feel them getting back to the longer sessions... :)
