Today i am 50 years old and amazingly, a runner! My gift to myself was to start c25k and a whispering little voice said I would possibly do the whole programme and graduate.
Well, contrary to everyone's beliefs (who knows me), I DID IT! I am RUNNING into my 50s and can't tell you how proud I am!!!
It's not just the incredible physical achievement. A huge lesson from this whole thing is that we can do ANYthing we set our mind to! I have gained strength to tackle everything, patience for progress and confidence to pick new unknown challenges.
This afternoon i will go for my celebratory run. No title, no pressure. I will just
run. π
I've said it before but real people here have been my big support. I want to thank every single one of you for the tips, the support, the selfless joy, the warm advice and presence. We are all winners. ..and runners!
