Week 4 run 2 - better on treadmill?

Last week I did my first week 4 run...essentially I thought I was going to pass out!! I was running outside which I generally find much harder. Today was a total revelation as I loved run 2 which I did at the gym. Is there any way I can improve my road running experience? I really want to enjoy the scenery of an outdoor run but I just hated it.

Transitioning to whichever you’re not used to takes time... I’d advise anyone to do this plan where they’re happiest... this isn’t about just about running, we are raising fitness. Graduate on the treadmill and then look at outdoors if you want to.

I think the easiest way to transition would be on a running track as that’s the closest surface to run on, and you have a visual on laps to learn pacing... depends where you live though, lots of the country is lacking in facilities.

I run outdoors, I don’t get on with the treadmill.
