Has anyone done the 5k challenge to help them lose baby weight? If so, did you combine it with diet or just do the running?

Thanks

5K is too small a distance (short run) to loose any weight at all. In terms of calories it's roughly up there with a choc bar. However, C25K is a great platform to all sorts of health benefits, including some serious weight loss, toning and cardio resistance. Many of us who graduated and moved to 10K and then over to half and full marathons (some went beyond) have all seen changes that justified all that effort and mileage. It's all very doable if you commit. ;) And yep, it needs to be combined with proper diet, (and in reality it's all much easier then when you read about it). :)

Weight loss requires nutritional changes and running is great exercise alongside that.

Good luck on your journey.
