It’s taken me 6 months but I am in Week 9, running 30 minutes and 5k. 6 minutes per km seems to suit me just right since the intervals stopped and the long runs kicked in. What with weeks off through illness and more weeks off through lack of anyone to mind my one-year-old plus repeating weeks after these mini breaks or because I felt I wasn’t ready to move on, it’s been quite a journey. But I finally have confidence in myself that I can actually kind of run!

I can relate to that - apart from the one-year-old - as my progress was far from smooth. I even settled on the same pace. All that's left for you to do is to knock off the last runs - no problem
