Thanks to everyone who replied to my newbie post. I do feel good about my achievement to date. I'd always shirked jogging cos of dodgy knees, but having done some research, I find myself taking small steps which I think is protecting my knees from injury.....makes for shorter distances though 😉..but that's ok. I shouldn't speak too soon maybe, but I think my knees have improved somewhat....better an injury-free tortoise than arthritic hare!

Yup... your knees will strengthen and be better than ever eventually... I have dodgy knees and have been running pain free for weeks now.

Well done NP! Speaking as a 🐌 (albeit one running for a bus nowadays - I’m at last getting a bit quicker!!), I can confirm that slow and steady is the way to go. It’ll especially benefit you with your knees. 👍
