This week’s (rather personal) mantra

As I slogged along in the cold wind and the rain this came to me:

Run Ethel, run Ethel, run run run,

I’ve had enough of your fun fun fun,

Stop that begging for another bun,

Just run Ethel, run Ethel, run run run !

And as the wind grew more bitter and the rain became heavier, I came up with a second verse. Which I won’t sully your eyes by putting on here ! But I finished the run even so 🏅😄 All the best for the coming week, everyone x

Your words actually speak to me... thanks for that. I’ve been on a chas n Dave thing in the car since Chas died and they did that song on one of the albums. Educating my daughter on music that my dad likes!
