Whoop. Just completed run 3. With the spurt on for the last minute....get me! Definately prefer very early morning running, it's my day off today and I've got loads to do (including buying new running shoes) but my timing was awful. Loads of school kids in the way plus heavier traffic. But hey it's done and I feel fab. Now it's goodbye to those nice walking breaks and hello to the serious task of telling my legs 25 mins of non stop running is normal. Good luck to everyone running today.

Whoop, whoop, we have another runner in the house ππ Well done/run SOULY ππ»
Yes! Great job... obviously traffic and brats were chucked into the mix to test you some more... didnβt stop you and thatβs because nothing will. Onwards
Me too....minus the spurt...didn't we do well!
Well done. I usually do a sprint for the last minute. Feels good to change the pace but wouldn't want to risk it till the end of the run is in sight lol!
Yahoo!! Well done to you! I was hoping to be able to post a similar post tonight but hubby is out for tea with workmates (so inconsiderate π) and so we'll have to go tomorrow!!
Roll on week 7 and well done again!!
Oh no. Just think, you will be faster tomorrow after an extra days rest
Here's hoping, although not sure I will be as I've just polished off a pizza ππ
Haha. I had a full pizza last night!! Its the fuel of runners Made the pizza base with SR Flour and 100% Fat Free Greek Yog. It was lush
This may have some truth... I was listening to a podcast with the mountain runner Robbie Simpson and he said heβs had some of his best runs after eating pizza π he swears by them...!
Congratulations on getting your runner badge by the way! Iβm an early morning person too itβs a great time to go outπ sound like youβre doing brilliantly enjoy week 7!
You're a runner? Yes. Yes you are. Well done, and welcome. π€ It gets better from here! New routes, new distances, but remember: it's all YOU. If you want to run Short distance, then do. Long? Then do!
As long as you enjoy it.
Awesome stuff, go you!! I was meant to go today but uni called, so I'll be doing mine tomorrow! Ah!
Well done you! Am going for W6R2 tomorrow after funding R1 a lot easier than I was expecting after all the comments. Not getting too cocky though and will just take my time. Congrats on getting that far ππ keep up the good work.
Great advice given by everyone else. Yes, u can now run for 30 mins, which is a fantastic achievement. I can't do 5k in 30 mins but I now feel fitter, healthier and happier than I did in April. Good luck with whatever you decide to do next
