So happy today I’ve graduated yippee, never thought I’d get here, so pleased myself as have never been a runner, hated it a school and now 44 and running for 30mins, never at the beginning I thought no way could I run for that long but surprised myself, and anyone starting or halfway through their journey please keep at it, there will be ups and downs and sometimes you will give up and retry it, this is my 3rd time attempting this and I’ve done it xxxx

That's amazing and so good to hear exactly what I'm thinking from someone whos just completed it. I'm sat here thinking, at week 2, how the heck will I run 30 mins when I'm struggling at 90 secs ha ha ha ha

Well done :-)

I just took one run at a time, even when I maybe didn’t go out for a run for a week, I went back to the last run and rerun it so I felt a nut more confident when I did the next run and my week. Also try and let your body do the work not the brain as many a time I’ve started running thinking there’s no way I’m going to run for say 10 mins non stop but surprisingly how easy it was getting to to run the distances. Keep going strong but don’t beat yourself up if u don’t have a good run/week just take a run back and u will be fine, also it took me far longer than the 9 weeks at repeated a few to build me up xxxx

Hi Woolley that's great! I have also had to repeat runs several times as life gets in the way, so at week 11 I am just starting week 6! Glad to hear I'm not the only one!
