Hi everyone so after watching my nephew in the Manchester 10k last week (and seeing Mo Farrah) I’ve decided I am going to shift this rubber ring around my waist and start running! I’ve realised it’s not my body/weight holding me back, it’s me!

I woke up early this morning and decided I’d go onto the field around the corner with the dog (so he didn’t bark and wake everyone up) and do it.

I’m so proud of myself for getting out and I did it but after the warm up walk I thought the 90 seconds were taking a while after I had made it all the way back round I checked my phone and it was paused and fast forwarded so actually I think I only did 4 rounds as supposed to 6/7 but tbh that was my limit so I now know not to put it in my sports bra😂

Any way I’m mega proud of myself for starting and I WILL do this!

Well done Fatnat5 for getting out there and starting! That can be the biggest hurdle. Once you get the momentum happening, there'll be no stopping you! I remember run 1 so well... I couldn't do all the runs, skipped the fifth one out of the 7 runs. Best advice I was given was to go a LOT slower. It made the world of difference. All the best with your runs! :D

I felt a bit like that run one, now just starting week 5 and realized it is mostly in the head, You can do it well done for starting.
