I’ve had one of those weird messages asking for money, should I forward it to someone? Can I block the account? TIA

Hello embobs I had a weird message from a woman who said she has cancer and just had a week to live. I did not open the message to read it, I just deleted it. Not sure if you can block people on here, best to just delete the message.

She starts off by apologising for contacting you on this forum then the moment she went in to her sob story I just pressed Delete.

Hi embobs why not clicking on the three dots to the right of the message and a drop down message pops up. There is an option to Report Spam. Will do that next time that I get a funny message asking for money as this one clearly was.

This definitely isn't the right forum for scammers. Report it as Spam next time.

Thanks, that’s the same message I’ve had. Thanks for your tips! Xx

As admins we don’t deal with problem messages. These are dealt with directly by Healthunlocked as they take invasive messages very seriously. The way to report it is by the three buttons on the top right hand of the message. They will sort out the problem by restricting the user so they are no longer able to post or message.
