I graduated a little while ago then had a bit of a problem with ligaments. I have also been struggling with PF throughout the the program.
A few years back I would never have thought of Yoga as anything other then hippy $%^* however I had recently thought about it more positively with a view to becoming more flexible. They do it at the Gym I use but not in English so I browsed the internet and signed up for a 14 day free online course with Adriene Mischler. I missed a couple of days and ended up buying the course, not a lot of money and mine to keep. I have to say it is great, 30 mins a day and I feel it is complimenting my gym work with flexibility and core strength. My gym is minimum three times a week and standard is 20mins xtrainer, a series of 5 weight exercises varying by day (Back, Shoulders, chest) additional covering Bicep, tricep and abs, then the c25k session on the treadmill.
After a week of the yoga my core is stronger, I am less slouchy and the stretches seem to be having a major positive effect on the PF, serious improvement for the first time in months.
So if you have PF think about it and if you are like I was and though yoga was for hippies and was lotus position on lots of ommmmmms, think again! I am a fan!
