Back to smiling again after this run as no wind and hot sun! I felt apprehensive after the previous run which was awful due to weather conditions. Feeling more on track and looking forward to r3.

Well done AJ! 👏👏 Brilliant stuff, you’re on the run-in to the podium now and you’ll smash the remaining runs! 😀

The weather makes a massive difference doesn’t it? I must say though, when I began the programme back in June, it was the start of the heatwave and I yearned for cool and damp conditions. Not torrential rain and blowing a hooley though! 😅💦💦 Good old UK!

Enjoy your running. 😀

Thank you. The weather does make such a difference. Looking forward to graduating but will either need to speed up from a snail jog or run 35 min to get to 5k.

Oh don’t worry one jot about getting to 5k at graduation. Apparently only about 10% do. Have a read of some of the posts on here about it - you won’t be alone by any means if you don’t! I’m still way off!

Just make 30 minutes your goal and you’ll smash it! 👍

Well done to you too, you're onto week 8! I am 1 run behind as the run on tues did me in and i nearly lost all my motivation. Isn't it crazy that we are running for 25 minutes. I would never have thought i could manage this so quickly as i was so unfit at the start of c25k.

I remember putting my last cigarette out just around midnight the night before and huffing an puffing up the stairs... then run one was 8x attempted murder on C25Ks behalf. Yeah, wow... that was July, it’s shockingly fast. When I graduate my neighbour wants coaching through it, he has zero willpower... but I’ll knock that door every other day until his ass is outside and ready to go!

Well done to quitting smoking. Your neighbour will have to do it if you keep knocking on his door lol. I am even contemplating carrying on to 10k. I need to also enter a race as i want a medal.

A race is a good idea... it will help keep the motivation after graduation. I’m gonna go for 5k race training until Christmas and then again January to July... that will take me through 10k but I don’t have any desire to enter a road race for a good while with my knees. There’s a HM on trails in Stockport which could act as my springboard to the marathon that I want to do just the once.

Wow a marathon! That is a major goal.

It’s more of a booze up with some running sections 😂
